PRE PRIMARY TEACHER’S TRAINING

The needs of the pre-school children are very different from the school children. During the early years of life, their physical, motor, mental, emotional and social developments are taking place at a rapid rate. Careful and thoughtful nurturing of children at this stage of life can create a sound foundation for the rest of life. Properly trained personality who knows the requirements of pre-school children can make a lot of difference in the personality of the child. This Vocational course is intended to prepare students to get trained in catering to the needs of these children and become entrepreneurs in managing quality day-care centers and pre-schools (Play School / Nursery).

CAREER SCOPE:

  1. Opening Pre-School-Play Ground, Daycare, K.G.

  2. Conducting enrichment classes for children

  3. Jobs as teachers in pre-schools

  4. Jobs as Coordinator/Supervisor in pre-schools/ Curriculum Developers at school

  5. Organizing summer camps

  6. Organizing Children's events.

COURSE CONTENT

Paper I – Child Development
Paper II – Curriculum for young (Theory)
Paper III – Curriculum Planning (Practical)
Paper IV – Organization & Management of Centre (Theory)
Paper V – Management of Centre (Practical)

 

INTERNSHIP:

Two months long Internship at various schools and centers the name are-

   1. Euro Kids

   2. Jumbo Kids

   3. Mumbai Mobile Creche

   4. Edu Kids

   5. Smart Beez

 

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Various workshops / guest lectures are arranged throughout the year on some of the following topics:

   1. Personality Development

   2. Time Management

   3. Sex Education

   4. Puppet Making Workshop

   5. Story Telling Workshop

   6. Music Workshop

   7. Teaching Aid Making Workshop

   8. Sessions with Pre-School Owners

 

EXAMINATION PATTERNS 

  • Internal Assessment throughout the year

  • Annual Theory Exam         : 100 marks
    Internship                           :  200 marks
    Minimum Passing Marks   : 40%

 

Students failing or defaulting in the internal assessment will not be permitted to take final exams.
